History of Euro-Silo N.V.

In 1968 Euro-Silo, located at the Sifferdok, discharged it's first sea-going vessel. Euro-Silo started it's operations with 2 pneumatic unloaders and a silostorage of 18.000 mt. Gradually Euro-Silo increased the silocapacity at the Sifferdok to 245.000 mt.
In January 1992 Euro-Silo took over Ghent Grain Terminal and renamed this installation Euro-Silo Rodenhuizedok. The former Ghent Grain Terminal, located at the Rodenhuizedok, discharged it's first vessel in 1978 and throughout the years from 1984 until 1994, the capacity was raised up to 410.000 mt. Today Euro-Silo has a total storage-capacity of 650.000 mt. in it's own facilities. These own facilities are called Euro-Silo Sifferdok and Euro-Silo Rodenhuizedok.
