EURO-SILO N.V. as a distribution-center for grain and derivatives in the vicinity of many grain-processing and feed-factories, may be considered as the pioneer of the Ghent grain traffic. In January 1992 the take-over of GGT by EURO-SILO united two of the most refined and high-tech loading and unloading installations for the storage of grain, oilseeds and derivatives in the port of Ghent.
